Abby Elliott

Abby Elliott, born June 16, 1987 was an American comedian and actress. She was a Saturday Night Live cast member from 2008 until 2012. Since then she has starred in the Bravo comedy Odd Mom Out as well as on the NBC sitcom Indebted. The actress is daughter of of actor/comedian Chris Elliott. Elliott was the elder of two children , and was born in New York City. Elliott is the daughter of Paula Niedert a talent coordinator, and actor/comedian Chris Elliott. Her father was Bob Elliott, a radio comedian. She is the younger sister of the actress Bridey Elliott. They both were born in Wilton, Connecticut. She was a student at Immaculate High School Danbury where she was a part of musicals and school plays. After graduating from Immaculate High School in 2005 she enrolled at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City but she dropped out during her first semester. Elliott also dated Fred Armisen in 2010. The couple split in September of 2011. Elliott was married to TV writer Bill Kennedy on September 3 in 2016. The couple has a daughter named Edith Pepper Kennedy. Elliott learned about comedy at The Groundlings, and then began performing and training for several sketch comedy shows at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB), Los Angeles.
