American actress Courtney Thorne Smith (born November 8th 1997). Her credits include Alison Parker in Melrose Place, Georgia Thomas in Ally McBeal, Cheryl In According to Jim and Lyndsey McElroy's character on Two and a Half Men. Thorne-Smith was born in San Francisco, California, and was raised in Menlo Park, a suburb south of San Francisco. Her father, Walter Smith, was an expert in market research using computers and her mother, Lora Thorne, was a therapist. Courtney was seven when her parents separated. Courtney lived with both parents at different times. Jennifer is her older sister is an ad executive. In 1985, she graduated from Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley, California. While in the high school, she also was a member of the Ensemble Theater Company in Mill Valley. Thorne Smith made her debut film appearance in the 1986 movie drama Lucas, alongside Winona Ryder, Corey Haim, and Charlie Sheen. In the late 1980s , she was also in a number of films, including Welcome to 18 (1986), Revenge of the Nerds II (Nerds in Paradise) (1987), Summer School (1987) and Side Out(90). In 1998, she was an actress in the box office movie Chairman Of The Bank, which failed along with Carrot Top. She was also in Sorority Wars in 2009. In the beginning of the 1990s, Thorne Smith dated Andrew Shue, her on-screen lover from Melrose Place. In June 2000, she tied the knot with Andrew Conrad, a geneticist. The couple split in the month of January. Roger Fishman, the president of Zizo Group marketing and author of What I Know, was her husband. On January 11, 2008, aged 40, she gave birth to her son, Jacob Emerson Fishman.
