Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the United States is an actress, comedian, and activist. Her parents were Jewish parents from the Soviet Union and started her career as child actress after she relocated to the United States. She came to prominence for her appearances in AT&T television commercials as saleswoman Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016, and then from 2020. She was a regular host of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also starred in a recurring role as a character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub was initially chosen to play the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's pilot that was never aired for New Warriors in 2018, was voiced in that role since. Vayntrub, a Jewish person was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. Her parents, who were both at the age of two, came to America as refugees from antisemitism. They were settled in West Hollywood. When she was five she began to appear in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was in part due to the difficulties in the family's finances. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School, but dropped out following her sophomore year. She she was able to get a GED and went to complete the Bachelor of Arts in Communication at the University of California, San Diego. As part of the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied Improv comedy.
